How much will my sax repair cost at The Saxophone Whisperer?

Don't Be scared, that Selmer Mark VI was in a house fire, and even though it didn't see the flames, it needed that level of disassembly because of water damage from the fire hoses to ensure everything was oiled and lubricated as needed!!

Everyone's price may be different because of what is needed, however here are a couple examples.

I will work on an instrument that walks in my front door for a starting fee of $35.  (Under 5 mins would be free - like finding a spring that is off and re-engaging it).

$35 will get you 1/2 hr of my time.  past that my time is around $85/hr.  Where I live that is below what an auto mechanic or plumber makes, and my skill set is more specialized.

All of the following prices do not include shipping.

I have decided to "up" my Alto saxophone Basic Professional Overhaul Price to $1000 and my bring my Tenor Saxophone Basic Overhaul price "down" to $1250.  That is $50 closer to each other than before.

Quality material is my obsession.  I use Tenor Madness resonators and MusicMedic roo pads.  Cost of material between the 2 sizes, there is a bit more of a difference than some people think.  Those who disagree can go somewhere else.

A Soprano will cost the same as an Alto at $1000 as much more time is spent on the small mechanics.

Sopraninos - email me.

Baritones due to their size, will start at $2000.

Bass, again due to their extreme size, will start at $2500.

Again things like extreme dent work and polishing would be extra.  Please establish email contact with SaxophoneWhisperer.com first.
