There is so much to say about Dr. Paul Cohen. To say what an amazing impact he has had on the saxophone community is an understatement. I'd try to list everything he has personally achieved, however I don't think I could do it justice, so i will just give you a link to his "To The Fore Publishers" page so you can read there, and speak to his character from a personal point of view. He his one of the most nice, kind, generous, and caring individuals I know while being true to his beliefs and desires. Paul can be contacted at Paulcohen.saxo@gmail.com.
Douglas Pipher is a Canadian saxophonist, collector and researcher who has spent more than 10 years studying Selmer instruments with the goal of learning through primary research. He is working on a series of publications in order to help bring accurate Selmer history to light. His efforts can be seen as the Selmer saxophone serial number list is from his research and is the most accurate known. Douglas can be reached at Douglas@SelmerHistory.com
Connsortia.com is a must visit for any Conn Saxophone Enthusiast. The mission is simple. Collect images of every single engraved saxophone Conn has ever made.
The execution is, well, a bit more involved. They hope all the world’s Conn lovers will help them and contribute to this testament to the most varied and unique engravings the world has ever known. A lot has been said about Conn’s continual experimentation of mechanical and tonal innovations, and now somethings grand is said about the art that went along with it.
Call it an ‘open source museum’, carefully curated and cataloged by two guys who said “it must be done”, and a CONNsortia of partners who agree.
I use MusicMedic roo skin pads. They are supple, tough, and they do not stick. My personal horn has had them now for almost 15 years, of a fair amount of playing, and no adjustment has ever been needed. They have lots of saxophone repair products and "how to" videos.
Again, worth taking a look at their site.
I use these resonators as they are one piece and reusable. If 20 years from now if you have the unfortunate problem of needing a pad replaced, you just make sure you tell you tech that these are in your horn and re-use the reso that is already there.
Saxophone.org has been around for years and has many great resources . Well worth a visit as there are many historical advertisements. Some of the Serial number data I took from his sight as it is in the public domain. There is even more of the lesser known brand serial number lists there
A great sight that has saxophone picture examples of EVERYTHING! Also has serial number lists and manufacturer information too.

Jeff Denning and Charles Gray have been friends since middle school "All County" band while sitting next to each other in the band.
As you can tell, only people who know what they are doing as well as being a great person are here. This is another of the very best. Joe totally understands the nuclear science that goes into altering a soprano saxophone mouthpiece.
